Square Enix‘s Manga UP! service published the three-part final chapter of Makoto Kisaragi‘s Kōhai-kun Dake ga Shitteiru (Only My Younger Workmate Knows) manga on Wednesday.
The manga centers on Aoi Mizuhara, a 29-year-old office worker who has learned to keep her head down, not bother anyone, and focus on her own needs. Yet out of nowhere, she gets called an aggressive, distant, and stern looking career woman by her colleagues. While Aoi had a boyfriend, they have only recently separated, with the boyfriend saying he has another person whom he wants to protect. On the way home from work, Aoi decides to drop by a bar, and there chats up a handsome playboy. After some conversation, Aoi ends up just thinking about her ex. But after a few more drinks, she finds herself naked in bed with the guy she was drinking with, who turns out to be a colleague from work.
Kisaragi launched the manga in Manga UP! in April 2023. Square Enix published the manga’s first compiled book volume in December 2023.
Kisaragi launched the manga adaptation of Ryūta Kijima and Sando‘s The Strongest Tank’s Labyrinth Raids (Saikyō Tank no Meikyū Kōryaku) light novel series in Manga UP! in 2019. Square Enix released the manga’s 13th volume on April 7. Square Enix is releasing the manga in English in the English version of its Manga UP! service, and Comikey is also releasing the manga. A television anime adaptation of the manga premiered in January 2024. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.
