GLASGOW, JULY 14TH 2025 – Before the launch of COLORFUL STAGE! The Movie: A Miku Who Can’t Sing in cinemas across the UK and Ireland from Sunday 31st August, Anime Limited and CyberAgent are incredibly excited to confirm that the film will receive its UK premiere at a special screening event in London.
This preview screening event will take place on the evening of Thursday 28th August at the BFI IMAX cinema, offering an incredible opportunity for fans to come and enjoy the spectacle of this highly anticipated new film, complete with a themed environment to photograph yourself and your friends in, and free giveaways to all attendees.

This new film, produced by P.A. WORKS, is the first film to feature the new Hatsune Miku. The story is based on “HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE!”, a global hit rhythm released in 2020 with more than 39 million global users. The game is about high school students finding their true feelings through music.
The film starts where Ichika meets the “New Miku”. Ichika is a high school musician who plays in a band. One day after giving a live performance on the street, Ichika meets a new Miku that she has never seen before. No matter how hard this new Miku tries to sing, her songs can’t touch the hearts of her listeners. Miku starts to find a way to sing by relying on others’ help.
