Superhuman hero action manga launched in March 2024

The September issue of Shonengahosha‘s Young King Ours magazine announced on Wednesday that Sun Takeda‘s Guardian manga will end in the magazine’s next issue on August 29.
The action manga is set in a world where humans who have partially or fully mutated bodies called “superhumans” appear. One of these superhumans is Kanata Arakawa, nicknamed “Rocket Man,” has the overwhelming strength to destroy giant monsters with a single blow. But he does not use his power for a heroic cause, instead he uses it for his own purpose.
Takeda launched the manga in Young King Ours in March 2024. Shonengahosha published the manga’s first compiled book volume in September 2024, and the second volume on April 30.
Takeda launched the Gleipnir manga in Kodansha‘s Young Magazine the 3rd in October 2015, but moved it to Kodansha‘s Monthly Young Magazine in May 2021 when Young Magazine the 3rd ended publication. The series ended in April 2023. The 14th and final compiled book volume shipped in July 2023.
Kodansha USA Publishing shipped the manga’s 14th volume in English in March 2024.
The manga inspired a television anime adaptation that premiered in April 2020. Funimation streamed the anime as it aired in Japan, and also streamed an English dub. Funimation released the anime on Blu-ray Disc in July 2021.
