Udon Entertainment announced at its San Diego Comic-Con International panel on Saturday that it will release Hidetaka Tenjin‘s Artistry Of Gundam artbook in both a standard edition and an oversized “U.C. Edition.” The company also announced that it will release the Marvel vs. CAPCOM: Ultimate Complete Works artbook.
The oversized U.C edition of the Hidetaka Tenjin‘s Artistry Of Gundam artbook will measure 10″x13.6.” The regular hardcover edition will measure 8.25″x11.25.” The hardcover edition will be available in bookstores and will retail for US$49.99, while the U.C. edition is exclusively available for pre-order on Udon Entertainment‘s website, and is priced at US$89.99.

For nearly half a century, Mobile Suit Gundam has been revered as Japan’s most iconic SF and mecha franchise. Gundam introduced the concept of “real robot” mecha, influencing all mecha anime after it and permeating Japanese popular culture through spectacular anime series’, manga, video games, and especially the famous Gunpla model kits.
Now, the incredible Gundam illustrations of legendary illustrator Hidetaka Tenjin are gathered into one spectacular volume. Hidetaka Tenjin‘s Artistry of Gundam collects Tenjin-sensei’s illustrations from across the Gundam franchise, including Gunpla box art, blu-ray anime covers, magazine illustrations, video game artwork and even more rare and unique works!
The company released preview artwork from the book that are pending licensor approval.
Udon will release the Marvel vs. CAPCOM: Ultimate Complete Works artbook on November 4. The full-color hardcover artbook is 8.25″ x 11.75″ and retails for US$59.99. The book will have 336 pages. The Udon Store is also offering a Deluxe Collectors Edition Set, which includes a “Ladies of Marvel vs. CAPCOM 2″ cover by Panzer, six collectible metal cards, and six character pins. The Deluxe Collectors Edition Set is available to pre-order between July 26 and August 10, and retails for US$120.

Udon noted that its first Marvel vs. CAPCOM collection has been out of print since 2012, and this new collection will feature more than 140 pages of new material, including new tribute art and materials from Marvel vs. CAPCOM Infinite.
